If you need your daily dose of unbelievable cuteness, then you need to watch this video of Meghan reading a board book to baby Archie.

Archie is such an adorable chunk, isn’t he? Meghan is so petite that they almost look like they’re the same size. Harry was a big baby, too, and Archie absolutely inherited his frame and his eyes. We can’t wait to watch him grow up. It’s wild to think that he’s already a year old.
The storytime video, filmed by Prince Harry, gives viewers a glimpse of life with the Sussexes–but it’s not just for our entertainment. The video will benefit the UK charity Save the Children.
“As the world grapples with the coronavirus pandemic, children’s lives are being turned upside down. By donating to Save with Stories, you can support the most vulnerable families in the UK and around the world by helping to provide early learning packs, supermarket vouchers, essential household items and virus protection,” the caption reads.
A Year Apart, a World Away
What’s really fascinating for those of us who follow Royal gossip is the contrast between today’s video and the photograph re-released by Kensington Palace’s official Twitter.

Every person in that photo looks like they’re wondering how soon they can leave. Although those chairs are beautiful, they can’t possibly be comfortable. Ditto for the clothes. Meghan looks so much more relaxed with her blue chambray workshirt and messy bun.
If the Sussexes are going to make a success of this independent experiment, then they’ll do it by being more “real” than the rest of the Royals. That seems to be the message of their new authorized biography, “Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan, and the Making of a Modern Royal Family.”
Any parent or caregiver can sympathize with Meghan in the video above. Archie wriggles and squeaks. He tries to put the book in his mouth. He loses interest, has a mini-meltdown that threatens tears, and then perks back up again. We’re used to seeing William and Kate’s children, who are poised and almost always dressed to perfection.
Harry and Meghan’s idea of a “Modern Royal Family” is clearly much more relaxed and authentic. Whether that will be a success, only time will tell.
Could Meghan Start Blogging Again?
Before she got engaged to Harry, Meghan ran a moderately successful lifestyle blog called The Tig. It wasn’t as huge as Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP, but she maintained a steady stream of updates that gained attention thanks to her fame from “Suits.”
Royal insider Myka Meier claimed that Meghan might start blogging again soon. “I think she’s going to do a GOOP, like a new version of The Tig … I really think that’s coming. I have a friend with a little bit of insider knowledge, and I think she’s already working on something,” Meier continued. “I think we will be seeing something very interesting and creative with masterminds from all over the world coming together to bring something inspiring soon.”
Now that they’ve lost the Sussex Royal brand, Harry and Meghan need to find a new way to brand themselves. They’ve already announced that they’ll call their charitable foundation “Archewell.” It’s unlikely that Meghan will revive The Tig, but she may very well use her blogging experience to launch a new lifestyle site.
